Best free firewall program with Avast Anti-virus?

I've only had experience with AVG software when it came to free protection on my pc. But my Kaspersky license is gonna run out today and I don't want to be unprotected. I've heard Avast or Avira is one of the best in terms of free software. I don't want to get the Internet Security so what would be the best/safest free firewall for download? I also have Malwarebytes, so I just need a firewall.
