Do you like fluffy towels?

I like my towels hard and scratchy, like someone else said they are good for the circulation and they seem to absorb water better. My stepmum did my washing for me once and she put fabric softener in it, my husband complained for days that he kept smelling fabric softener on his clothes. Each to thier own.
