Question about Avast! and Comodo Firewall combination, etc?

Avast and comodo will not cause your computer to freeze don't listen to that other Guy. I had them both on my computer with no problems I just decided to go complete comodo you can even YouTube these two together and see how great they both work at keeping your computer clean. Delete your current anti virus and firewall before you install them. Check out languy on YouTube he have a great video on how to set comodo up based on your computer skill level
