What's the Israeli experience been with women soldiers?

Whenever the debate comes up in other countries whether to enlist women to front line duties there's always arguments against, such as over-fraternisation or women being too cute and fluffy to kill. Is this true? Does it impede an army's effectiveness or is it just sexist bullsh*t? Or somewhere inbetween?
